AICPA is pleased to announce that the annual Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop will be held in Peachtree City, GA on May 28-30, 2009. We still have two slots available and are looking to have students from New York who are interested, so we can have representation from the East Coast.
Eligibility Requirements
- Junior, Senior or Graduate student for the 2009-2010 academic year who intends to pursue the CPA credential and is a declared accounting or tax major
- Maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Actively involved in campus and/or community activities
- An ethnic minority (Black or African American; Hispanic or Latino; Native American; Asian)
- Have not attended a past workshop
This workshop is a great opportunity for students to enhance their leadership and communication skills, while gaining insight into the benefits of the CPA profession.
